Last Thursday we were requested to attend our clients investment property in Crestmead to investigate a leaking ensuite/bathroom.

We conducted a water meter and pressure test, shower breach test, drain test, shower base flood test, simulated shower test and obtain moisture meter readings.

The tenant advised the adjacent bedroom/bathroom wall was becoming wet after the shower was used.

Our tests revealed a failed seal between the bottom of the shower screen where it meets the tiled shower base.

This is an extremely good outcome as we re sealed the area with silicone which should resolve the issue.

Potential causes of leaking showers include, taps, shower head, pipework, drainage or compromised waterproofing.

We provided our client with a report and video files of the leaks identified

Trevor and Sam attended my property to detect and repair an underground water pipe leak. They were very professional and experienced with their work. They located the water leak under the concrete slab exactly where it was, using various radar tool and equipment. Once Sam identified the location of the possible leak, Trevor seconded it by doing his own verification. This allow them to neatly cut the concrete slab with precision, minimising any destructive work and damages. They replaced the faulty joints and retested the new connection with compressed air. They were also very meticulous in their work, testing and retesting several times to make sure there is no leak to the new joint, before backfilling it. Definitely gave me great confidence through the entire process, as their experience shows they know what they are doing. Well done guys. Great job!
