This morning we attended to a reported leaking pebblecrete pool in Ferny Hill, we tested the multi port vale before inspecting and dye testing the skimmer box. We then pressure tested the concealed plumbing . The suction line held pressure but the return line did not hold pressure. We then introduced some compressed air, water and tracer gas before locating the leak in the wall of the pool behind a return jet. We simply plugged the return jet and our licenced plumber reconfigured the return pipe work. We retested the line to find it secure. We then entered the pool and replaced the original 40mm hydrostatic valve.
