We then attended to a reported leaking pebblecrete swimming pool in a complex in Upper Mount Gravatt. We tested the multi port valve before testing the concealed plumbing.
We noted there were 2 x skimmer boxes which is rare in a small pool. We tested both suction lines and identified one of the suctions was leaking immediately behind the skimmer box.
We confirmed the integrity of the other suction line.
Being mindful of costs we plugged the damaged skimmer box and our licensed plumber configured the pipework at the pump.
We then pressure tested the return line which held pressure.
We then entered the pool and replaced the original 50 mm hydrostatic valve.
We briefed our on site manager who attended on site.
