Leaking suction line identified in a swimming pool in Paradise Point

02 Dec Leaking suction line identified in a swimming pool in Paradise Point

We then attended to a reported leaking tiled pool in Paradise Point, our client had a local pool maintenance man attend and conduct a series of checks. We reviewed the work undertaken before we commenced to pressure test the concealed plumbing. We tested the suction line being from the skimmer back to the pump and this lined did not hold pressure. We noted air and water was seen escaping around the skimmer box indicated a damaged pipe in the vicinity. We tested the return line which held pressure. We by-passed the suction line and plugged the skimmer box which will alleviate the leak whilst we submit a quotation to return and complete the repair.
