Yesterday we attended to a bathroom leak in New Farm, we inspected the unit directly below which had some clear signs of water damage in its ceiling. We inspected the shower recess before completing a drain test then a shower base flood dye test. Almost immediately after the shower base test was commenced water was seen dripping down into the ceiling below. The waterproofing membrane is compromised. We captured the video footage , showed our client before completing a report recommending our client make contact with the builder who completed the bathroom renovations.
