Yesterday we attended to a reported concealed water leak in Sunnybank Hills. A water meter test revealed a leak of 407 litres per day, a pressure test failed. After tracing the line and introducing compressed air we located the leak close to the water meter. We removed some concrete edging, trimmed some hedges then excavated down to locate a failed 16mm poly joiner. Our licensed plumber completed the repair and after testing the line identified a further smaller leak close by. We completed the repair, re tested the line to find it all secure. We reinstated the site. Our client was on site throughout. We assisted our client to seek a rebate through their water provider.
