We then attended to a concealed water leak in Redland Bay, a water meter test revealed a leak of 5082 litres per day, a pressure test failed. After conducting a series of tests which included using compressed air and tracer gas we located the likely source under the concrete stencilled path leading to the front door. After discussing the likely cost of the repair with our client we then proceeded to remove a section of concrete using a concrete saw and excavated down to locate a failed 25mm poly pipe adjacent to a stormwater drain. Our licensed plumber completed and tested the repair. We backfilled with sand before reinstating the concrete section back in situ and cleaned the site with a pressure cleaner. We assisted our client to seek a rebate through their water provider and to contact their house insurance to see whether it is a claimable event.
