Swimming Pool Leak Detection in Regents Park (Logan, Queensland)

Swimming Pool Leak Detection in Regents Park (Logan, Queensland)

This morning we attended to a reported swimming pool leak in Regents Park We first conducted a physical inspection of the pool including pump filtration system. Following this, we tested the multi-port valve on the sand filter before commencing pressure testing the concealed plumbing. We pressure tested the suction and return plumbing which both held pressure.   We then removed the light and dye tested to find dye being drawn in between where the electrical cable penetrates the shell of the pool. (see videos) We entered the pool and repaired the leak before re dye testing it to find it secure. Finally, we dye tested the main drain including hydrostatic valve , skimmer box and return jets. We replaced the hydrostatic valve as our client had just purchased the property as a preventative measure going forward. Our client was briefed throughout the inspection.
