This morning we attended to a swimming pool pre purchase inspection in Highland Park , we first conducted a physical examination over the entire pool and immediately noticed a large structural vertical crack measuring around 800mm. We photographed the defect, then went about trying to pressure all the concealed plumbing but was unable to confirm any of their integrity due to their plumbing configurations. We then hydrophoned the skimmer box, return jets x 3, spa jets x 4 , blower holes x 11 , main drain and hydrostatic valve before entering the pool and dye testing all the above mentioned parts of the pool. Finally we conducted an in pool physical examination of the pools floor and walls noting imperfections. Our clients attended on site and we walked through the inspection before completing a report outlining the above. It appears the client has opted not to proceed with the purchase of the pool.
