28 May Pre purchase swimming pool inspection – Aspley
This morning we attended to a swimming pool pre purchase inspection in Aspley, we first conducted a physical examination over the entire pool and immediately noticed paver subsidence and loose coping pavers in two locations. We photographed the defect, then we pressure tested the concealed plumbing namely from the skimmer box back to the pump and from the pump back to the return jets. Both held pressure. We then hydrophoned the skimmer box, return jets x 2, main drain and hydrostatic valve before entering the pool and dye testing all the above mentioned parts of the pool. Finally we conducted an in pool physical examination of the pools floor and walls looking for any cracks and or imperfections. Our client attended on site and we walked through the testing conducted before completing a report outlining the above.
