Yesterday we attended to a house leak in Yamanto, a water meter test revealed a leak of 720 litres per day. This leak was identified by his neighbour who was experiencing wetness in his rear yard. We conducted a pressure test which failed and after tracing the line we introduced a combination of compressed air and tracer gas to locate the likely leak source at the rear of the property near the laundry. This property backed on to the Ipswich motorway so traffic noise was high thus relining on our gas detector to hone in on the leak location. We drilled a number of pilot holes into the concrete and reintroduced gas to further define the leak location. We will return to the property when the owner returns to remove a section of the concrete and repair the leak
