This afternoon we attended to a house leak in Capalaba, a water meter test revealed a leak of 4547 litres per day, a pressure test on the line failed.

After tracing the line and introducing a combination of compressed air and gas located the general vicinity of the leak under neath the concrete drive strips near the front of the property.

We discussed with our client a likely cost for the repair which was accepted. We excavated down and on either side of the drive strip to locate a failed 16mm poly joiner.

We were able to replace the damaged section of pipe without damaging the concrete .

We then tested the repair and the line overall to find it now secure.

We cleaned up afterwards and provided assistance to our client to make a claim through their insurance company and water rebate through Redland City Council.
