Recently we attended to a house leak in Shailer Park, our client noticed water running into their kerbside. A water meter test identified a leak of 1800 litres per day. A pressure test failed to hold pressure. We traced the line and after introducing a combination of compressed air and tracer gas located the likely leak source under paving close to the front garden tap. Using a concrete saw we removed a section of concrete to identified a failed 25 mm poly pipe directly under an earthenware/stormwater junction. Our licensed plumber Sam completed the repair , then re tested the line to find the line now secure. We provided our client with information to seek a water rebate through Logan City Council
