This afternoon we attended to a house leak in Arana Hills, a water meter test revealed a leak of 1440 litres per day, a pressure test confirmed the line was not secure. We traced the line and introduced compress air which brought us to an area near the front tap under concrete. We drilled a number of pilot holes before cutting out a 600mm x 600mm square section of concrete to locate a failed 1/2 inch copper pipe. Our licensed plumber completed the repair before retesting the line to find it now secure. We assisted our client to contact her house insurer which will cover some of the costs as well and providing her with access to make a claim through their water provider.
